Wolf Presents Percussion Recital on Wednesday

David Wolf will present a free recital of contemporary percussion music at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in Irons Recital Hall, at the Fine Arts Building, 700 Greek Row Drive. Wolf is a visiting lecturer and interim director of percussion at The University of Texas at Arlington.

The program will include “Dr. Gradus ad Parnassum” by Claude Debussy, “Mourning Dove Sonnet” by Christopher Deane and “Mudra” by Bob Becker. Other selections include “Time for Marimba” by Minoru Miki, “Hot Water Burn Baby” by Roshanne Etezady, and “Rebonds” by Iannis Xenakis.

Wolf will be joined in the performance by Sarah Frisof, assistant professor of flute, and members of the UT Arlington Percussion Ensemble. Call the Department of Music, 817- 272-3471 for more information.
