Authors Present Bird’s Eye View of Texas History

Dr. Gerald Saxon, Dean of the Library at UT Arlington and Associate Professor of History, and co-author Jack Graves Jr. will discuss their book, Historic Texas from the Air, at 7:30 p.m. today at the Central Library sixth floor parlor. A reception and book-signing will follow.

Saxon has authored and co-authored several books, including Mapping an Empire: Soldier-Engineers on the Southwestern Frontier (2005), Entrada: The First Century of Mapping the Greater Southwest (1998), and Transitions: A Centennial History of the University of Texas at Arlington (1995). Graves is a local businessman with a passion for flying, photography and history.
