Studying Abroad Highlights International Education Week

Political Science professor Dr. Victoria Farrar-Myers is one of several UT Arlington faculty slated to give presentations during International Education Week 2010.

“Education Abroad: The World is Your Classroom,” sponsored by the Office of International Education, will feature activities and lectures that discuss international service learning, research, teaching, studying, working and interning in the international arena and at UT Arlington.

Farrar-Myers will present “Building a Community One Child at a Time: The Giving Circle in Uganda” at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16 in the Red River room in the E.H. Hereford University Center.

The 11th annual International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.
