Professional and student linguists will converge at The University of Texas at Arlington during the 18th annual UT Arlington Student Conference in Linguistics and TESOL on March 3-4.
The two day event will feature student presenters and faculty members from universities across the nation.
Dr. Grant Goodall (University of California-San Diego) will deliver the keynote address with “What is Experimental Syntax Good For?” at 2 p.m. that Thursday in Room 303 of the Chemistry and Physics Building.
Friday’s schedule includes a grant-writing panel at 2 p.m. Faculty members of the College of Liberal Arts, including Dr. Kim van Noort, Dr. Colleen Fitzgerald, Dr. David Silva and Dr. Naoko Witzel, will be on hand to guide graduate students on their grant proposals.
