UT Arlington’s Symphony Orchestra and A Cappella Choir will perform in a special fundraising concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, at Dallas City Performance Hall.
The concert, hosted by the Department of Music, will help raise funds for scholarships and programs within the department.
Program pieces scheduled include Dvořák’s “Te Deum,” Gershwin’s “Concerto in F” and Respighi’s “Pines of Rome.” Featured performers include soprano Soo Hong Kim, baritone David Grogan and pianist John Solomons.

Dallas City Performance Hall, located at 2520 Flora St. in Dallas, is a city-managed, publicly funded theater designed to provide a home in the Dallas Arts District for the city’s emerging and mid-size performing arts and cultural organizations.
The Department of Music is an accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) with a world-renowned faculty and approximately 325 graduate and undergraduate students. The department offers several undergraduate and graduate degrees, including music performance, music education, music business and industry studies, and music composition.
