COMM Students Intern at 2015 Cotton Bowl

Eight UTA Communication students served as interns for the 79th Cotton Bowl Classic earlier this month.

“This is the second year communication students have provided video for the game’s YouTube channel,” said Broadcast Lecturer Lance Liguez, who oversaw the Cotton Bowl video project along with Associate Professor Andrew Clark.

“During the week leading up to the game, students covered visits by Baylor and Michigan State to area hospitals, discovered odd pre-game rituals and showcased the hospitality provided to both players and media,” Liguez noted.

The video content provided by the students will stay on the game’s channel for an entire year, Liguez said.
