Just before his senior year began, UTA student Daniel Winston-Ruiz suffered a deep personal loss. But he battled through grief, worked incredibly hard, and gained acceptance to all of the top law schools in the nation.
He credits 3 things at UTA that helped him get into law school: Mock Trial Team, Pre-Law Society, and an amazing advisor.
“Ms. White is an incredible resource we have.”
Daniel chose to attend the school that offered him a scholarship worth four times the value of his childhood home. He is graduating with a B.S. in Psychology and will attend the University of Michigan Law School as a prestigious Clarence Darrow Scholar.
